PRIVATE CLASSES
with Michiko & Paul

Paul & Michiko have been teaching, dancing and organising  regular milongas over the past thirteen years.  Paul’s interest in Tango began in 1986, when he became the first English person in the current revival  to teach and perform Tango in the UK.

When they first met, they began to tour Europe to take classes with the visiting Maestros, notably Pepito Avellaneda, Gustavo Naveira, Pablo Verón and Claudia Codega & Esteban Moreno amongst others.  They continued their education by regularly travelling to Buenos Aires and attending many milongas, watching and dancing with the local milongueros, listening to the music and taking classes and private lessons in different styles, from “milongueros” to canyengue.

Other than those mentioned above, their teachers so far have included Maria & Rodolfo Cieri, Aurora & Jorge Firpo, Marta Anton & Luis Grondona, Miguel Zotto & Milena Plebs, “Téte”, Susana Miller & Cacho Dante, Osvaldo Zotto, Alejandro Aquino & Mariachiara, Pupi Castello, Gustavo & Giselle Anne & Olga Besio.  They continue to take classes whenever possible on the basis that you can always improve and there is always something new to learn.

Besides regular teaching, Paul & Michiko have taught and choreographed for stage, screen and television, media in which they have also performed.
